• Jan. 7 - 16 (9 days):  Pick up rental car (Subaru XV or similar), with 4WD, snow tires & insurance (for all damage over $600). Pick up and return the vehicle at CTS airport.

• Jan. 7- 11 (4 nights): in Niseko's main Hirafu village and ski in ski out, in the Yumoto Niseko Prince Hotel Hirafutei in a in Deluxe Twin room with a Private Onsen, including breakfast, and with an onsen in the building

• Jan. 9 (1 day): Private lift-accessed sidecountry guiding for you and your son in the Niseko region. The guide will have transportation and can take you to nearby resorts. An avalanche safety kit (beacon, shovel, probe, pack) is mandatory with the guide and rental avi kits are included

• Jan. 11 - 14 (3 nights): Stay in Otaru in the Grids Premium Otaru Hotel (with an onsen in the hotel) in a twin room with 2 beds, including breakfast

• There are 4 ski areas within a 35-minute drive of Otaru, ranging from very local to more well-known.

• Jan. 14 - 16 (2 nights): In Jozankei in the Jozankei Tsuruga Resort Spa MORI no UTA in a Japanese/Western style room with breakfast, dinner, and a great onsen
